W/S X4078 Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4078 X1069 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LGS.3.22. Referring to your Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}21/BM/8.3.22. For a long time now, on the works cars, we have given up fitting the Cobra horn because of the difficulty of fixing them. Also we have found that water easily gets into them, either when it rains or when the car is washed. The horn we use and recommend is the Lucas - type 3F. This horn has no flex and has a long extension. We have found this much more easy and convenient to fit to modern cars and it has a much neater appearance than the long trailing flex of the Cobra. With the Goshawk with the Klaxon button on the steering wheel, we think that this will be used considerably. We have no objections to fitting the Horn inside the Bonnet as long as it can be done without spoiling accessibility or interfering with any part of the engine. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
