Copy BY from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 9.12.24. "V" SERIES PETROL TANK. ----------------------- Referring to your BY12/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 3.12.24. Mr.Royce has previously approved of a scheme of two level device, the general principles of which are the same as the double filter you have been using, the design of the pieces only being modified. We are working on this and shall send it to you in the course of a few days. In view, however of your remarks regarding the external appearance of the tank we are not sure whether you would expect to get this device on "V" Series or not. The central fitting of the tank will of course be altered slightly, and as we propose now, the side filler and cap will also be slightly altered. Since you also raise the question of conversions, if it is intended when a man's car is converted. to give him every single thing that is on "V" Series, then it would seem a pity to put this new tank on "V" series since it will merely add to the cost of conversion. As far as the external shape of the tank is concerned, it is not altered in any material respect from those existing. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
