X3398 COPY OF LETTER RECEIVED FROM:- PETO & RADFORD, 50, GROSVENOR GARDENS, LONDON, S.W.1. M/C.1411. 14th Nov, 1922. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., X3398 Y444 Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, Confirming the writer's conversation with Mr. Fowler Clark yesterday, we would be glad if you would send back to us the 3 original sample Goshawk batteries delivered to your order No.9236 and the B.D.11. which did 11,000 miles on the 40/50 car. We would like these to be returned with the acid in them just as they are and if you can arrange to send them down on a car to your Cricklewood or Lillihall Depots we will arrange for their collection. We will exchange the 3 for 3 of the latest type having Dagenite cells and proper terminals, etc. free of charge. The B.D.11 we will examine in our Works and see if we can bring it round with charging, if not we will write you further about it re opening it up etc. Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD.
