WING DETAIL & FITTINGS - Ldr. F.{Mr Friese} 66772

Setscrews were substituted for the Wing Stay Studs in the Radiator, as otherwise it means taking off the front wings before the radiator can be removed.

DASHBOARD & FITTINGS - Ldr. F.{Mr Friese} 66722

(1) The .171 diam. hole alongside the Slet on the cover plate F.{Mr Friese} 66711 is shrouded by the side bonnet rest angle.

(2) The drawing of the air duct F.{Mr Friese} 66496 does not show a .750 diam. hole to coincide with the one in the dashboard for the necessary wiring connections to the distribution box.

---

STEERING COLUMN & BOX - Ldr. F.{Mr Friese} 66716

(1) The two holes either side the lubricator boss on the steering box support sleeve F.{Mr Friese} 66397 require spot facing to give spanner clearance.

(2) The L.O.P. should call for 2 - F.{Mr Friese} 51600 Control Knobs.

(3) The L.O.P. does not include a nut for securing the pendulum lever to the rocking shaft.

(4) In view of the fact that no permanent scheme has been issued for preventing rotation of the horn button, it is suggested that the Dr.15738/9/40/41 details to Ldr 6052 should replace the existing parts on the above Ldr. and on the latest type Marles Steering.

PETROL TANK - Ldr. F.{Mr Friese} 66709 - Ldr 2925-1808

Owing to the length of the centre supports F.{Mr Friese} 57825 and tube F.{Mr Friese} 56581, the petrol tank cannot be removed from a bodied car without first releasing the road springs at the rear shackle. It is therefore suggested that the centre supports should be shortened about 1" so as to allow the tank to pass downwards between the road springs and the support stays cranked to suit.
