Will you please carry out a test in the cold chamber on the rig unit, motoring this over on the starter motor at 0 deg. C. 1. When S.A.E. 20 oil is utilised. 2. " " 50 " " in each case recording the time for the oil to reach the top position on the cylinder bore. The test will, of course, be run with the cylinder head removed. Will you also go over the service records of cylinder bore wear and get several examples showing the maximum variations in wear between different cylinders of the same engine.
