LONDON, S.E.1.

For the attention of Mr. E.D. Dalmaine.

Dear sir,

We have been testing out your Mintex 730. material. We find that this material splits off into layers when it is rivetted on. We do not know if you can do anything to improve the structural strength of this material, but we send you herewith a piece for your inspection.

In its present form we should say that we should not think of adopting it however good it may turn out to be in other respects.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
