Re: Duron Material for Servo Discs.

With reference to the tests which we carried out recently on' Duron material for servo discs, I discussed this matter with Mr Bailey of Brake Linings Limited, and he informed me that Mr.E.R.Hall ordered the discs without reference to Duron material, and in consequence the material supplied was not really suitable for its purpose.

Mr Bailey pointed out, he would like to supply some material which he himself was satisfied with, for use under the conditions in which the servo discs work, and I am sending you herewith two types of material which he considers will give good results.

Would you be good enough to have these tested in a similar manner to the previous discs, to see how they compare with your other curves in this connection.
