COPY. X.4053 - SPECIAL CHLORIDE BATTERY WITH FLEXIBLE CONNECTING LINKS AND CENTRAL STAY BOLT. This battery has done over 3,000 miles on chassis 4 EX. It has now been taken off that car and dismantled for inspection and the nuts were found to be quite tight and the connections perfectly sound. It is recommended that we adopt flexible connecting links and central stay bolt as suggested and ask the Chloride Company to supply further batteries fitted with these as soon as possible. Previous to placing this battery on the car we have had a high rate discharge test and found that the connecting links kept quite reasonably cool. C7.C. EFC. | ||
