DEPOT SHEET NO. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}47.

THE ADAPTABILITY OF LOW PRESSURE TYRES
TO EXISTING CHASSIS.

Further to our Depot Sheet No. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}43, we find it desirable to make an amendment to the paragraph in which we state that Hydraulic Shock dampers are an essential fitting to the front of any F.W.B. chassis when low pressure tyres are to be fitted.

We are informed by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} that in the case of any 20 HP. chassis, the addition of Hydraulic shock dampers in conjunction with Medium Pressure tyres is not essential and we should therefore cease to insist on hydraulics.

Hydraulics can of course be fitted in addition.

In view of our attitude that we want as many people as possible to have low pressureTyres, this amendment is important, but it should be confined to the 20 HP. chassis.

In the case of the 40/50 HP. chassis, our previous remarks hold good, that is, we should insist on Hydraulics if the car is fitted with F.W.B.

Will you please note the following errata :-

Under (P) - The wheels should be GWN2.
" (S) - Q. should read 'P'.
" (W) - V.{VIENNA} should read 'U'.
