[STAMP: RECEIVED 16 JAN 1919]

For the attention of Mr. Hives.

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to the special plugs which you require for your engines for the Atlantic Flight, we understand you are sending us an order for 50 - KR4As. We propose to charge these out to you at 10/- each, and suggest that we credit you with the full value of any plugs actually used on the flight.

We think it would be advisable for you to also test our new Model D13, and we should like an order from you for 2 dozen of these or as many as you require for the purpose, and these we propose to supply you at 10/- each, with the same offer of credit if they are used for the Flight.

The KR4A and the Model D13 are entirely different constructions, and we should like you to be quite certain that you are using the better plug of the two.

P.T.O.
