We have not received any further news of Pattinson's accident. I had a talk with Sr. about it and he said had the police taken a serious view of the case, the car would have been locked up as well as Pattinson until the decision of the Judges had taken place or bail being allowed. As the case now stands I understand that the Insurance Co. will have to pay out a sum corresponding to the position in life of the man, which the Judges will decide. This is without the case being taken to court.

RE CLARK'S ACCIDENT

Sr. and V.{VIENNA} Allen came down here yesterday evening to collect the front axle. They have taken it back with them to straighten. The opinion however is that a new axle should be procured. They brought two standard front road springs, which we can fit temporary. It will be two or three days before we receive the axle back.

We have straightened out the wings and made the few necessary repairs to the stays etc.
