Hancock - Head Chateauroux} (at Chateaux) [text is crossed out] B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} Bentley. With reference to the failure of the front anchorage bracket of the rear road spring, reported in GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}4/JAB, it is a pity that this chassis is such an old one, otherwise it would have been fitted with the stronger bolts and improved locking, instructed on the 101st chassis in D.2. series, and since which about 400 cars have been turned out. This alteration was made to overcome a similar failure experienced on the Bentley some time ago. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
