We have received your telegrams reading as follows:-

1) VALVE MATERIAL IS CORRECT SHALL WE SEND EXHAUST BOX.

2) EXHAUST END COVER SIX SPARE NUTS DESPATCHED CHATEAUROUX VIA AIR MAIL HERNU PERON.

We have resumed running with a temporary repair to the exhaust system. We have again run into trouble with No. 3 exhaust valve, .006" clearance having been taken up in 250 miles. If this occurs again to-day, we shall dismantle the head to ascertain the cause.

I am making enquiries from Paris re the Monthléry track, and will carry out your suggestions as soon as convenient.
