Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 1st. inst., the engine for which we require the Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}260 valve springs and under which conditions we had two failures are as follows :-

(1) Valve lift .400.

(2) Actual camshaft speed at which the failures occured 2000 R.P.M.

(3) Maximum camshaft speed at which the valves operate 2250 R.P.M.

We are anxious to know what your findings are regarding the failures as soon as possible.
