Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 1st. inst., the engine for which we require the Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}260 valve springs and under which conditions we had two failures are as follows :- (1) Valve lift .400. (2) Actual camshaft speed at which the failures occured 2000 R.P.M. (3) Maximum camshaft speed at which the valves operate 2250 R.P.M.
