Switch design for connecting the "Geka" Petrol Stopper and the Safety Lock to a Motor-car. "Geka" Petrol Stopper (shown in horizontal position for the sake of greater clearness). 1) Heat cut-out (will automatically cut off petrol supply at 120° C.) 2) Switch-box (with ignition lock). For electric connection the following wiring is required: a) Line 1 between Stopper and Safety Lock. b) Line 2 between Safety Lock and Switch-box. By ONE SINGLE movement you switch on or off BOTH ignition and petrol after our Genuine "GEKA" Petrol Stopper has been adopted, it will no longer be necessary for you as it is now to open the engine bonnet or to toil below the fittings board. The Genuine "GEKA" Petrol Stopper makes for economy in running, it will prevent carburettor dripping and even while running it will give you ample opportunity for saving petrol. (Travelling downhill etc.) In the event of a carburettor blaze or a fire caused by pipe breakage you will be in the happy position to cut off the petrol supply immediately FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT by means of the Safety Key, while simultaneously allowing the engine to continue running at high speed, thus practically doing with a view to extinguish the carburettor fire just what so far, in most cases, was no more than a vague theory. If, at an outbreak of fire due to pipe breakage or carburettor blaze you should fail to act as you should, due to the nervousness liable to arise in such cases, the petrol supply will nevertheless be automatically cut off by the precision jacket fuse fitted to the Genuine "GEKA" Petrol Stopper, immediately an abnormal heat is produced below the engine bonnet due to the fire. Upon request we supply our Genuine "GEKA" Petrol Stopper equipped with Safety Lock. That will enable you to cut off the petrol supply independently of ignition and thus to protect your car effectively against theft.
