X1042 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/KW.25.8.36. GAE-20. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} makes the following comments about this car - Brakes grunt and poor. Exhaust very noisy. Engine "pops back" on quarter throttle. Engine noisy generally. Bangs in exhaust after stopping. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} considers that the brakes are unsafe, and these should certainly be brought up to a reasonable standard. It is disconcerting to note that the carburation is unsatisfactory as this should be a standard system. Will you please investigate this at once and see whether you can trace the cause of the trouble. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
