contd :- -2- (6) Shock damper (rear) connections - more road clearance. (7) Watford new magneto large armature (no sleeve), laminated poles, silent bakelite gear, light contact maker. EAC.9 ( EAC.7. WITH FINAL IMPROVEMENTS). (1) Still lighter engine, with smaller and lighter crank-chamber and wet liners. (2) Induction system giving highest possible MEP. for the compression ratio throughout the whole range of speed up to the master period. (3) Possibly the slipper flywheel on the G.l. scheme - (capableof dealing with all the periods?) (4) New gearbox, lighter, smaller, simpler and giving more room on the chassis for servo and brake mechanism. (5) Back axle improved and arranged for hypoid gear if this has proved satisfactory. It is thought so if the hypoid feature does not exceed 1". (6) If (5) permits it the frame will be lowered a further 1". E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will confirm and supplement this: perhaps there are many more things that I do not remember.
