Dear Mr. Skinner,

Herewith two drawings of pistons which we are using on our cars.

We are most interested in the steel skirt piston of which you spoke and would very much like to have the opportunity of trying it. The smaller of the two pistons is really the one in which we are most interested. Would there be any possibility of obtaining two dozen of these for test ?

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
