Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Y1331 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG5.11.24. Y9941 Y9410 TESTS OF FRONT ROAD SPRINGS. We attach a comparison of Firths and Woodheads front springs giving the initial camber and thickness of each leaf. The Woodhead spring is similar to the ones which have just completed 10,000 miles without failure. The Firths spring is made to the same design which gave inconsistent results on the bumping test. We are expecting further sets of springs from Messrs. Firths. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} MADE AT CROXLEY | ||
