Vincent Avenue, Drumcondra, GEELONG, Victoria, AUSTRALIA. 13th Jan 1941. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, 14-15 Conduit Street, LONDON W.1. ENGLAND. Dear, Sirs, I have devised a new method of transmission for internal combustion engines which may be of interest to you. I enclose plans and specifications of my invention for your consideration. A practical test has not yet been carried out, and, with the facilities at your disposal, such test could be made if you think the invention of value. Same is protected by an Australian Patent Application No. 3344/40. If you intend taking the matter up will you please advise me before the 10th June 1941. Yours faithfully, Ron Benson Handwritten notes: Top left: Illegible signatures Top center: Stylised 'H' stamp Top right (in red circle): RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}: This appears to be purely a chassis matter E/D Middle right (purple stamp): 235 Stamps: Top right: POST RECEIVED 24 APR 1941 Bottom center: RECEIVED 1 MAY 1941 | ||
