TELEPHONE 5041 COVENTRY. TELEGRAMS: HUMBER, COVENTRY. HUMBER LTD. COVENTRY. 28th February, 1936. W.A.Robotham Esq., Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., Experimental Department, D E R B Y. Dear Mr.Robotham, In furtherance to Mr.Rootes' letter to you of yesterday's date, I can assure you that whilst I admit we have failed to make contact with you in the recent past, we are most anxious not only to make an occasional contact but to maintain continuity. Just as we feel that in many cases you could be of very material assistance to us we also feel that at times we could be able to help you, and we shall be very pleased indeed for you to come along and see us. In our Experimental Engineer, Mr.Miller, we have a very able man on carburation matters and I do think he should be able to be of assistance to you. Quite unconnected with this subject, there is another little matter about which I was going to write to you in confidence and that is the new Sessions jack with the motor driven pump. I am very anxious indeed to get to know something about the job - particularly the pump, not necessarily for application to the jacking job but for general hydraulic application. Please drop me a line and let me know when you can come; I am practically always at the Factory. If you come by rail we can always arrange to meet the train, and of course we should like you to have lunch with us. Yours sincerely, S.S.Guy Winter | ||
