To RY. from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. for. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RMS. Handwritten: GRY{Shadwell Grylls} x906 Sleeme Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}29.1.34. Bentley Brakes. In cases of heavy braking when the front axle has been found with a permanent set the toggle links are also usually bent. We have suggested on M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Sch.3958 herewith that a small increase in the thickness of the rectangular section would be an advantage here. The increase in strength is approximately 25%. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
