S/W Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3729 C5/C1.11.24. There was one matter we intended mentioning to you on Thursday, but overlooked and that is, a few months ago we purchased from America an Enclosed-drive Limousine which has been painted and upholstered on one half of it and left in the bare wood on the other. Our reason for buying this chassis was so that we might see their construction and also their finish. We have all the material for the unfinished part, so that it can be finished off. Our difficulty now is how to get rid of this body, but at the same time we feel that if we sell it we shall not have learned very much from the ordinary casual examination that we can give. It is built for a short chassis with a "B" column. We were wondering whether you could use this body up. You would no doubt find it useful for experimental purposes, you would be able to give us some idea as to how it stands up, and at the same time we should probable be able to realise more value in using it this way than we should by selling it, because it is not the type of body that would appeal particularly to our class of customer.
