X4252 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/C19/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 20. 8. 23. GOSHAWK II. CENTRAL CHANGE LEVERS. We have received a memo from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} pointing out that Mr.Royce has agreed to the use of the levers arranged like 4-G-2, that is, with the brake lever nearer to the driver than the gear lever also that Mr.Royce agrees to the necessary drawings being prepared at Derby as it is simply a "handing" job. We are requested, however, to use the spring anchorage for one of the pedals as shewn on N.Scheme 1334 in place of the present tubular anchorage. We have already prepared the necessary detail drawings for the above, and should be glad to know whether you consider these should be again issued experimentally so that you can produce the parts exactly in accordance with our drawings before they are standardized, or do you propose to issue Standardization sheets immediately?
