Re. 100 of "O" Series
40/50 HP. Chassis.

Referring to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/D7.11.32 and Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}18/GR.{George Ratcliffe}8.11.32 we have now completed a very thorough investigation of the points under discussion and as the result have decided that the whole of "O" Series can have the modifications such as new type carburetter, higher compression, modified camshaft, as on 19-EX. but not the resonant exhaust.

We do not feel that the resonant exhaust is sufficiently quiet yet to allow us to supply it for the ordinary luxury 40/50 limousine car.

This decision will leave the Continental car with the following differenced from standard:

Short wheelbase.
Higher axle ratio.
"F" Steering.
Special springs.
Hartford shock absorbers in addition to standard.
Resonant exhaust.
Sloping louvres to the bonnets.

I hope this makes the matter all clear.
