Chronos Works,
North Circular Road,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr.Arrowsmith.

Dear Sir,

Further to our letter of the 29th. ultimo reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA. addressed to Mr.H.R.Buckland who we understand is on holiday, we have discussed with our Sales Dept., the question of filling up the hole in the centre of the dial on our A.I. instruments.

We are returning to you under separate cover one Bentley rev-clock No.G.694 for you to alter the dial by concealing the movement as referred to in the last paragraph of your letter of the 16th. ultimo reference HRB/DC.

We would, in passing, draw your attention to the fact that the dial on the instrument shews the oil to have run from the paint on the figures spoiling the dial appearance also the instrument is reading slow.

Will you therefore please have this instrument prepared with a modified dial, also making the instrument read 2% fast at about 20OC.

Yours faithfully,

- FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
