Re: Diesel Engine.

We have not yet received any news of this engine from General Motors, or Perry Ryer of New York.

I have this morning cabled General Motors for date of shipment, and will follow the matter up keeping you advised.

As we shall be obliged to pay duty on this engine would you please inform me if the engine is for use in a motor car. Duty on motor car engines is 33 and 1/3rd. per cent, whereas aero engines are 20 per cent.
