However, as I said I would try and do, I was able to get the attached story issued to all our subscribers, in London and the provinces. It was issued in the "free" service which means that the papers pay nothing for using it. Actually this was quite a concession and was granted because of the generosity of Messrs Rolls Royce in giving me the trip for nothing!

I have not been able to go through all the papers but as per the attached cutting Robert Walling wrote up my message in the Standard on Saturday. It was received in good time for the Sundays if they cared to use it. You should get your newspaper cutting agency to watch out closely for similar messages. I will send you any I may see.

On my way back I was thinking of some names for the car and suggest as being worthy of possible consideration the following, "Aero-Bentley", "Bentley Avion", "Bentley Autobahnen", "Bentley Torpedo" or "Bentley Tornado".

I am writing Paris to tell them to get in touch with SR with a view to our being able to get some more publicity for you over the Montlhery run. I hope they will find they have broken some record or other so as to make it "general" rather than "motoring" big news.
