COPY Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}..from Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} Copy to C. PH. B.II. I drove this car about 325 miles last Tuesday and went to Brooklands with JLZ on Wednesday - and I was out again for two short runs to-day. I found the car generally rather better than the one (B.I) which I tested in France. It was of quite outstanding excellence in the way it holds the road, gearbox, steering, and is considerably steadier than B.I in front, radiator etc., and while leaving out small points which can be improved I think the only serious criticism is in the matter of maximum speed, which I consider is about 7 m.p.h. less than it should be. The lap speed at Brooklands was 82.8 and the engine seemed down in power at high revs. Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} | ||
