-2- Contd. points and thereby obtain better running on the magneto ignition. 2. The silence of the Bosch machine is very much better than any Watford machine. We think that the Bosch has a definite advantage inasmuch as they have an adjustment for meshing the gears. 3. The workmanship and all screw threads are much better than the average Watford. We are of course aware that the German Bosch is slightly more expensive, but it has never been our policy to put a limit on price, in order to control excellence. It has actually, on the other hand, been our practice to insist on excellence first, and consider the question of price later. Yours faithfully, TECHNICAL PRODUCTION ENGINEER, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
