JAPAN 1. - ENGINE SUSPENSION WITH DROPPED RADIATOR.

Herewith we send N. scheme 3274. shewing the revised engine suspension to enable the radiator to be dropped into the frame rather more than 5".

The crankcase is unaltered, and the only modification to the engine is the retaining nut on the damper flywheel, on which the starter jaws have been slightly changed.

The wiring conduits will require revision to pass round the new cross member, but there appears to be no difficulty in doing this.

We have indicated the new dumb iron but it is intended to make provision for a bumper, and we shall be sending you a further scheme for this in the course of a day or two.

It will be noticed that the starting handle gear can be pulled down as a unit by taking out two bolts.
