X5080 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} } FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} } E1/M23.3.26. X.8080 X.8080 RE. LOCKING FLOAT CHAMBER LID.{A. J. Lidsey} In reply to memos. Hsl/LG19.3.26. and HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}3/H19.3.26. I have looked into this matter and cannot see any better scheme for adoption than the one we use on RR.C.H. carburetters. It is evident that we must have a locking device. Probably the absence of the washer on the float chamber lid{A. J. Lidsey} accounts for it coming loose owing to lack of flexibility. Do you think the 20 HP. carburetter lid{A. J. Lidsey} also requires locking? E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
