X.3582 D43/CB1-1 2-120 Re Goshawk Carburetter Controls etc., The scheme of the temporary controls suitable for the 40/50 carburetter which is being temporarily fitted to the Goshawk is shewn on "R" Scheme 664 (3 sheets) of which we send two blue prints herewith. The long bent lever with a series of adjustable holes is intended to be used at first to obtain the amount of throttle opening that is most convenient. When this has been decided upon a smaller cast lever, similar to the design shewn on Sheet 3 should be substituted. In the meanwhile we suggest that the lever shewn on Sheet 3, which gives a throttle opening of .175, should be detailed and manufactured, as we think it will probably be found to be the right length. Please put details in hand. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
