Front wings Two B.IV.

The new type Panhard wings for this car should be completed on Friday (to-day). These wings showed up well in the wind tunnel, in fact they are the best of all the wings, but only by about 2 1/2% above the standard in the matter of drag.

The running board has been lightened to some extent, but we do not think we have done enough. We are testing therefore an all aluminium running board, with no wood, using stainless steel strips carrying the rubber to stiffen the board. When we have got something which we think is useful, we shall supply you with a sample set for testing, and with a view to the Works considering their manufacture.

Ey.
