Origin: To reduce road shocks and make car parking easier. Experimental Test Report: This lever is to be used instead of the 9.5" lever previously standardised, as it gives a better shape of side steering tube. Road Test Report: We have run all sizes of lever from 11" to 7.5" long, therefore can predict characteristics of 10". Will have done 10,000 miles before coming on production - on 12-EX. Box X No. 7430 Options: A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
