re: Flexofiltration Limited.

With reference to this type of petrol filter, particulars of which have been handed on to me by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, this is almost exactly the type used on our petrol system, the product we at present favour being produced by Enots. The only justification for changing over at the moment would be one of price, and I am asking Leslie to go into the matter.

With regard to oil filtration, we have recently abandoned full flow filters for the lubrication system and have adopted a by-pass filter.

The filter we have just standardised will restore black oil that has done several thousand miles in a crankcase to its original amber colour in 100 miles' running, and will last 5,000 miles before the element requires changing. In this respect, we consider that it is superior to any disc type filter of the "Flexo" variety.
