although we have made tentative proposals as to which chassis shall be put into production, it is left to me to finalise specifications which have to fit in with those of the 16 h.p.

When the rationalised programme was conceived it did not cover anything smaller than 3 1/2 litres.

I am already finding that minor alterations to the proposed models are desirable in the interests of commonisation. Ultimately, a brochure will be issued indicating exactly our recommendations.

With regard to the possibility of getting the price of the car down, this has been receiving continuous consideration but the conclusions drawn can obviously be of no value until they have been supplemented by the Works Manager after he has had time to plan the manufacture of the chassis in the quantities proposed to the finalised specification. It is clear that there will be almost insuperable problems in doing this in war-time.
