Crankcase and Bearings (Continued).

5. Please delete KB.3585 Nut for fulcrum lever from LOP.

6. EW.1399 Lower Half requires modification to boss to take Plug KB.1060.A.

7. 2 EW.821 Studs are called for on LOP. for front engine feet; we suggest plugs be provided for remaining holes.

8. The studs called for on LOP. for securing cylinder block are too long on account of the fact that a thinner gasket has been used on Bentley III; we recommend the provision of plain washers on LOP. for these studs.

9. EW.1396. Crankcase Top Half. The front offside boss on lower half joint face calls for separate milling operation; we suggest this boss be left blind and bolt replaced by a stud.

10. The following details are not called for on the LOP.:-

EW.1537. Stud - Main Bearing.
EB.630. Stud - Cylinder.
EW.1539. Stud - Cylinder.
EW.1540. Stud - Cylinder.
Vellumoid Joint required for Oil Filler Facing.

11. The following are called for on the LOP. but are not required :-

E.42900. Bolts - 2 off (only 1 required).
KB.3585. Nut - Fulcrum Lever.
KB.353. Studs.

12. Top Half Crankcase - clearance between A.C. Oil Filter and Brake Lever must be revised.

Cylinders.

13. The following details are not called for on LOP.EB.3654:-

KB.1085. Washer - Core Plugs.
Rivets for Tappet Retaining Plates.
Thermostat.

14. EB.10604. Plug should be deleted from LOP.
