-2- (4) contd- There is rather more noise from the continuous gears with engine idling than we should like, and we hope that an improvement can be effected with this feature. (5) We do not like the "tinny" rattle from the horn button. (6) Shock Absorber Control. We notice that the hand control for the shock absorber is very lumpy and jerky in action. So far as our experience goes on the early demonstration cars, this is a characteristic of the Arens control. We should like to get the major points of steering, clutch, gear box, and carburation cleared up. We should then be well on the way to getting a chassis in a condition to declare it off test. | ||
