(4) 4th Test. Conditions. Torque reaction dampers set to have a load of 38 lbs taken at a leverage of 5.25 inches. Torque reaction. The effect was of less amplitude but 25% more rapid. The gear lever movement had less amplitude but more rapid. Booms. In Front Seats. These were still more pronounced. The periods started at 9 MPH with a maximum at 10 and finished at 12 MPH. In Rear Seats. These became more of a rumble, was more noticeable between the speeds of 20 and 40 MPH and at 60 MPH. Steering. We could not detect any difference. Jellying of the front wings. These were 10% less movement than the 3rd Test. | ||
