Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/ET. C.W. WARD, Esq., Messrs. Park Ward Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, LONDON. N.W. 10. Dear Ward, 28th July, 1941. Thank you for your letter of July 23rd. Mr. Hives does not want his car camouflaged. Since it has got to be repainted, I suggest that it should be battleship grey, as he likes this colour. This means that it should be somewhat darker than 1-R-1. With regard to headlamps, we want to avoid using P.100 if the E3/TR{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance} lamps can be made to look reasonable. We suggest therefore that you fit up the small lamps with the shortest possible brackets, and we will arrange to have a look at them before the car is finally completed. Yours sincerely, | ||
