| D/L. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X677 REGISTRATION OF CARS. We have heard that there is an alteration in the red number plates for the ensuing year commencing from January. We understand that there are to be two types of red numbers - one which allows greater priviliges but with increased cost. - £25 - limited ones £5. Will you please let us have any particulars you can obtain in connection with this. Handwritten notes: As I have been trying to get hold of the new regulation for the past fortnight but they have not yet been issued by Ministry of Transport. Will let you know as soon as poss.
