Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} (copy to Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} & Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}). Bly.{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales}7/HEM.6.11.33. I thank you for your memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/KT.2.11.33. and note that you have fixed up runs for Miss Wright and Mr. S.P.Parr. We are therefore communicating with the people mentioned in our following memos, namely Baron Malfatti and Mr. A.{Mr Adams} Gidley Wright, trying to fix appointments for the demonstration saloon on Wednesday 15th instant. There is one case which I do not seem to be able to deal with, and that is Mr. E.E. Young, Elmshurst, Lonsdale Place, Derby. He called on the stand at Olympia and said he had had a run, I think, with his mother in a saloon which we gathered belonged to you. They were not impressed with the car owing to fumes in the body and he asked that we should get in touch with him when we could arrange a trial run in an open car. If, therefore, you think you could handle this run in an open car, it would save our sending up the open car specially to Derby to carry out this demonstration. Bly{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales} | ||
