1033 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GR.{George Ratcliffe}2/MH.{M. Huckerby} The Zenith Carburetter Co. Ltd., Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Middlesex. 5th. November 1937. For the attention of Mr. A.E.Palmer. Dear Sirs, 30 HP. D.C.42. The probability of flooding on the above carburetter calls for a reduction in size of float needle seat, when using a pressure feed of 2½ lbs/sq.in. similar to the latest Phantom III. It is believed that you would advocate a .101" diameter seating instead of the existing .130". The writer would like your confirmation on this matter. Will you please send a dozen seatings of the smaller size which you consider to be a satisfactory standard. An official order will follow later. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
