WATFORD MAGNETOS. x 355/ With reference to the latest proposed arrangements for the Magneto ignition on the Goshawk. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and myself paid a visit to the Watford people last week and made arrangements with them to produce two sample Magnetos to R's latest instructions. The magnetos will have a single high tension collector - no distributor or gear. They will have Cobalt magnets which will considerably reduce the bulk of the machine, and also have a sleeve. They promised to let us have two sample machines by the 18th.inst. As soon as these Magnetos come to hand, we will send one down to W.W. for your inspection. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
