This trouble on Ph.II is caused by the sliding joint not working, and is definitely cured by modifying the sliding joint as per Depot Sheet 199 and fitting an additional stay to the rear silencer as per Depot Sheet No. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}218.

The majority of these are top over-oiling and definitely cured by restricting the oil flow at the valve end of the rockers. See Depot Sheets Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}147, 174, and 176.
