I replied to your Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 6/KW.10.12.40 and Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 10/KW.13.12.40 on the 17th and 19th respectively, and conclude these have now reached you. I saw Pomeroy last Friday, and I have reason to think that the will give us a very good supplementary write-up on the lines indicated in Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 's notes. I explained to Mr. Pomeroy that when they last gave us a write-up, we had to criticise their figures and they dealt with the matter in a supplementary article, and I therefore concluded that on this occasion they would have referred to their last article before writing another one, as I believe these Press motoring correspondents usually do.
