Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives
Rolls-Royce, Ltd.
Derby, England

Dear Mr. Hives:

You undoubtedly were keenly disappointed to be advised that Mr. Ross severed his connection with us and has gone with Mr. Beaver at the Worthington Pump. He was such a splendid man in every way that we are naturally going to miss him a great deal.

Meanwhile, I have suggested to Mr. Sidgreaves that our New York Service Manager, Mr. Harry Adkins, who is acquainted with Mr. Swift, meet him and Mr. Robotham when they arrive here. We shall do everything we possibly can to make their visit pleasant. I think this contemplated visit is a step in the right direction and will acquaint them with the American situation.

Yours very truly,

ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA INC.

President.
