To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} #41. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}3/AP.16.3.38 WRAITH & B.III. SERVO DRUMS. Will you please make 2 pieces to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}507, this being similar to GW.1025 except for material. When ready we will have one fitted to a Wraith, the other to a B.III. We are having a little trouble on Wraith & B.III. with steel drums; cast iron will make a better rubbing surface, less prone to judder. The trouble is being accentuated by bad finish - the surfaces should be polished where marked on the drawing. On B.III. we have had to pull down the servo and polish it in the Garage.
