To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} x200 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/KW.4.6.36. 4 1/4 litre Bentley. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E.3.6.36. On the Borg & Beck clutch we have replaced the propellor shaft damper by a spring drive in the centre of the clutch plate. This does the same job, costs very much less, and saves about 10 lbs. weight. Experimentally the modification has been completely successful, but we have left provision for fitting the propellor shaft damper in the event of a customer's complaint arising.
